NEXT GENERATION HUB officially commenced operations as an independent entity within Osh State University on May 31, 2024, with the launch of the Robotics and Mechatronics program. As one of the university’s key innovation centers, it is dedicated to advancing high-tech education. Notably, it is the only specialized branch in Central Asia focused on robotics. What sets the center apart is its commitment to equipping students with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills in this rapidly evolving field. NEXT GENERATION HUB collaborates with Huibo Robotics, a globally recognized leader in robotics and automation, to provide hands-on training. The laboratory, established in partnership with Huibo Robotics, enables students to gain practical experience with industrial robots and automation technologies. Students at the center will receive specialized training in operating and programming ABB and KEBA robots. By working closely with industry leaders, the hub ensures that graduates are well-prepared for careers in industrial automation and robotics.
Next Generation Hub Lab
The NEXT GENERATION HUB laboratory features state-of-the-art equipment valued at $2 million, designed to replicate real-world manufacturing environments. It is outfitted with ABB and KEBA robots, Siemens logic controllers, and industrial sensors. The lab also includes Siemens logic controllers, sensors, and stepper motors, all essential components in industrial automation. Students will develop programming expertise with these controllers and sensors while learning to operate stepper motors, which enable precise movement in automated systems. This advanced setup allows for realistic manufacturing simulations, providing students with hands-on experience in control systems and robotic processes.
“Mechatronics and Robotics” specialty
Bachelor’s degree program in Mechatronics and Robotics:
The Bachelor’s degree program in Mechatronics and Robotics focuses on cutting-edge technologies, electronic systems, and automation processes. Students will gain knowledge in robotics, programming, and electronics, equipping them with the skills needed to become future leaders in the field.
“Artificial Intelligence” specialty
Bachelor’s degree program in Artificial Intelligence:
This specialization focuses on modern algorithms, machine learning, and neural networks, along with data processing and analysis. Throughout their studies, students will gain foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence, programming, and analytics, equipping them with the skills needed to excel in this field. Graduates will be prepared to advance in areas such as AI technology applications, robotics development, and automation systems.

Responsibilities of the Next Generation Hub
The “Next Generation Hub” at Osh State University offers students and faculty advanced education in robotics, mechatronics, artificial intelligence, automation, and electronics. It enhances practical skills, provides access to high-tech equipment, and prepares participants for modern industrial environments and future employment. Additionally, the center engages in research on emerging technologies and innovations while offering international education opportunities and academic mobility.
Mission and goals of the Next Generation Hub
To systematically prepare highly skilled, competitive, and in-demand professionals for the Kyrgyz Republic. By fostering sustainable multilateral cooperation with the People’s Republic of China and promoting academic mobility and freedom, we aim to develop specialists with a modern worldview, strong social responsibility, and high ethical and moral standards. Graduates will be proficient in foreign languages, capable of independent thinking and decision-making in a rapidly evolving world, while also preserving national interests, values, and culture.

By enhancing expertise in mechatronics, robotics, culture, economics, and politics, and by training highly skilled specialists who adapt to changes and competition in modern education, possess higher education and international study experience, and engage in continuous research, they play a vital role in the development of our country.
